The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye
The next ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo‘ novel has a title
The latest installment in the continuation of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series is due out in September, and the book’s U.K. publisher has just revealed the title as “The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye.”
The upcoming book – whose title was revealed in a tweet from Quercus Books that also read “Lisbeth is back with a vengeance on 7th September” – is written by Swedish writer David Lagercrantz, who was also behind the fourth installment in the Millennium series. That book, released in 2015, was the first to continue on from the original trilogy penned by Larsson.
“The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye” finds Lisbeth Salander attempting to solve the mysteries of her early life. Safely confined in a women’s prison, she is visited each week by the journalist Mikael Blomkvist, whom she sends to visit a Stockholm stockbroker with a connection to her past while dealing with racial and religious conflicts in the community around her.
The book will go on sale in 26 countries on September 7, including its native Sweden, where the original title — “Mannen Som Sökte Sin Skugga” — translates to “The Man Who Chased His Shadow.”
In this exclusive video, David Lagercrantz introduces the fifth book in the Millennium series and explains why it is called The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye.

Can't wait to read it!!!
Spoiler i really hate to post this, esp since i love the characters of the org story. to put it mildly, this book sux. come on, Salander gets kidnapped and escape so fast, salander time in jail, blomkvist hardly written about. the motorcycle gang, come on and lastly rehashing a old nazi experiment ..... i recommend to any, just go to the library and read that book. so when you get to the point of throwing the book away, you can just return it to the library. if this guy writes the next book i just might not read it. the spider web book was ok, nothing special. this book just plain sux.
The next book seems to be the last one ever written. Its main focus is on Camilla, the estranged sister of Lisbeth and the criminal organisation their father set up in Russia.
Starting to reread the trilogy series, for the 3rd time. i love the fact i got the books. i am so addicted to the series and characters of the series. this is the BEST set of books and story line, right up there with the conceptual ideas of Harry Potter with ref to the story line. Salander Rules.
