Refresh my memory please
Why did Lisbeth go to the apartment of the couple murdered in Stockholm? They were murdered shortly after she left…but I cannot remember why or what brought her to visit and I gave away the books to a friend to read.

Hi, yes she did she went to ask what they knew about Zala. If i remember rightly she’d read an email or a doc (whist hacking) that mentioned the name.

Lisbeth became aware through her computer hacking curiosity that Dag, in his yet unpublished book, had discovered some information about Zala. My suspicions are that she wanted know what Dag knew… and to also plant the seed of a connection between Dag and Bjurman.
What I don’t get is how her fingerprints were on the muder weapon. She was in Bjurman’s apartment. Refresh my memory… had she taunted Bjurman with his own gun and thus left the prints?
You’ll recall that it was immediately after she left the apartment that Dag called Bjurman, … who then flipped out… resulting in his death at the hands of the Blond hulk, Niedermann

Ka-varkyn, I also think her fingerprints were on the gun since she used it to threat Bjurman in his appartment

remember the night she went in his apartment and while he slept she was looking for “things of interest”, as he hadn’t been reporting on her as efficiently as he had been. She found the box w/ the gun in it locked in a desk drawer, and she took it out of the box to look at it. remember, she retrieved the key from some clothing in his room as he slept.

She went to their apartment to warn them that this Zala person was very dangerous. It is quite possible that she gave them Bjurman’s name to add to their sex-crimes investigation.

What I still don’t understand is this: Lisbeth is a very cautious person. She would never touch a gun and then leave her prints on it after. She would wipe it off with a cloth, or just not touch it in general. In the first book at the end, when she was taking care of Wennerstöm, and his loads of money, she always made sure not to leave any evidence, or prints when she touched things in hotel room’s etc. Would she be so stupid to touch Bjurman’s gun for no apparent reason and then put it back into the drawer with her prints on it? I think she’s way smarter than that. Any thoughts on this?
