Outstanding story telling
I haven’t immersed myself in such a good story for many years. Now that I’ve just finished ‘The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest’ I’m at a loss! This last book without a doubt was the best of three (in my opinion of course) and it kept me reading for 4 hours last night to finish it – no novel has ever done that for me. So, I read a lot of rubbish on this discussion board that the stories are popular simply because the author died tragically, and that books are badly written / edited. People are entitled to their opinion of course but I’d suggest that this type of novel is simply not for them, or that they have some other agenda, or just no imagination!! This is some of the best suspense novel writing I have come across for years. Detailed, intricate, twists and turns, superb characters, even humorous on occasion, sex… and written eloquently in my view. Great shame that there won’t be any more, and my heartfelt sympathies lie with Eva Gabrielsson.
