conspiracy
the books, i’ve read all 3 now….any chance he could have been writing about a nonfiction subject but was forced to make it fictional due to the inability to confirm sources? lots of reference material in the books..i’ve begun looking up the things he’s mentioned, it’s very interesting.
anyone else thinking along these lines?
contact me if you want.

Hello fixedgeargirl.
The fact that Larsson owned a magazine called “Expo” that exposed hate crime people and I think sex ring activities makes you wonder all through the books how much of this stuff was fiction and how much veiled non-fiction. What a book it would make if you uncovered the ACTUAL plots behind the “story”! For all I know, you could be the real Lisbeth Salander.

Yes, I realized that a lot of the series could be a way of avenging actual crimes that Larsson knew about, but also knew would go unpunished; surrogate justice.. The fury with which he wrote these books shows that at the least he was passionate about the causes he presents; whether or not he points to individuals or real life cases may or may not reveal itself over time. I would love it if that turns out to be true.

Did he — I am refer to Larsson and not the fictional Blomkvist — find any links between the neo-Nazis and the far Right and the murder of Olof Palme?

In the U.S., it is well known that psychiatrists can forcibly incarcerate anyone (especially their ownpatients). There seems to be no U.S.protection from this happening. Some are left in custody for decades. No one dares publicize these facts in the mass media. These books may be for our benefit as well as for Swedes. Their motives are greed but also pure power.

P.S. Also the timeing of his sudden death makes one wonder if it was due to some conspiracy?

What if he is pretending to be dead, and rises again, like Lisbeth from a premature burial?

I agree with all of this. I am sure that there must be many a truth in this plot almost to the point of what one could almost call autobiographical? Well is he is alive and well, making lots of money while he is hiding out because he must be on many hit lists, i hope that he is writing the other 6 books…I LOVED the trial and the way those ladies cleaned house, so vindicating. Best best best series ever…I hope that ‘Larson’ whereever he is?? reads this and writes more. Have you ever wondered about the paralells between Lizbeth and Jane Austin’s Elizabeth in Pride and Predjudice?

I would beleive that Stieg ‘s revealed real life Section who killed Anna Lund- hired some Serb(brothers Nikolitch)
After that Stieg became dangerous for Section
I don’t think that was heart attack
Come on,who would doubt reality of Sections
in Russia or USA?
Everyone can see – Section is in eternal power in Russia

I was hooked from the first book and the financial beginning. I believe that was very representative of the US financial dealings with other countries. The savings and loan crisis of the 90's was far deeper than anyone will ever know. Whitewater should have disclosed it all but was a cover up. Larsson had an understanding of the corruption seen throughout the world. I am surprised the books got published but am thankful they did. Fact or fiction it should make us all think of the inhumanities we inflict on each other.

Look into Project Gladio (do a Wikipedia search) and specifically the AGAG (Aktions Gruppen Arla Gryning). There’s your “Section,” folks.

Larsson revealed a lot of information about the goings on in sweden that were not known to the world. He highlighted all these issues in the books and started painting sweden in a negative light. The swedish didnt like this and saw nothing wrong with the way in which they live and didnt need people investigating their lives, therefore got rid of their problem … aka. Larsson

You are definitely right in your observation. In the case of Lisbeth the psychiatrist PetER tELeBORrian (solve the riddle of the name) working for the Section issued certificate that enslaved the her, and her sister, to compulsory care where they were abused by the elite and even the royals. But also it served the purpose of assigning a guardian for denial the right to dispose of their inheritance. This guardian was called Nils Bjurman in the Trilogy. In the real world his name is Göran Lindberg and he was convicted 2010 for other sexual crimes
